C.J. Surbaugh, MFA, MTS

Circulations Library Assistant, Senior

C.J. (they/he) manages the library’s student workers and assists with circulation and patron questions. C.J. holds a BA in English and Religious Studies from the University of Texas, his MFA in creative writing from Seattle Pacific University, and his MTS from Duke Divinity School. During the MTS program, they worked at the front desk of the Divinity Library. When not reading, C.J. enjoys knitting, hiking, talking about Texas, and convincing people to read Lonesome Dove.
